E-Learning - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What makes E-Learning so important?

E-Learning is being promoted by some people as being the 'be all and end all' of training. It is not!

Rather it is a training methodology which, when the circumstances are right, is the best option for some students and employers. To get the best out of E-Learning it should be seen as complementary to the more traditional learning methods such as classroom based training and coaching.

When do the courses start?

It is up to the individual student to decide when each course should start. Our trainers and technical support are available at all times during normal business hours and, by prior arrangement, can ensure they are also available in evenings and weekends if required.

How long does the course last?

Each E-Learning online course licence is valid for 90 days.

How much does it cost?

The cost is dependent on the length of the course and what level of support and printed material you require. Please refer to table here to identify the options and costs involved.

Payment for course can be either credit card (email us and we will phone you back) or by cheque or by business P.O.

Why don't I just buy a book from Amazon and teach myself?

If you do you don't get all the optional value added features and services offered by F1 - complimentary printed MOC, Free technical support, Free technology review sessions, option to buy training PC at cost, option to convert to classroom based course....

You need to evaluate your priorities and do a cost benefit analysis comparing what the course costs versus what time you should save by having a qualified trainer/developer help you with the course.

It should also be noted that while some people can teach themselves complex technologies with ease, most others find learning complex technology difficult by themselves and prefer help and support of a Certified Microsoft Technical Education Center and their trainers.

Remember that your time is one of the most valuable assets you have and selecting the best training ensure you make best use of your time.

Is E-Learning right for me?

It depends on your personal circumstances.  Of all E-Learning providers in the marketplace, only F1 offers the most focused and supportive E-Learning service available.

Adobe Acrobat (PDF) Reader is a free application which enables people to view and print flyers just as they would have been professionally printed without the need of the originating application. If you do not have a copy of it you can down load it from the site below:
