What is E-Learning?
e-Learning (also known as Online learning) is
defined by Elliot Masie (the world renowned Learning Guru) as "The broad
spectrum of learning and training activities that harness the power of
technology, including blended approaches and new models of classroom delivery".
Impressive eh? He also says that the term has "resulted in a huge domain of
confusion, spiced with a lot of hype".
E-Learning is basically learning from a
web site and is an effective option for some people who, for a variety
of reasons, find the traditional classroom training impractical. It
has the obvious advantage of learning when and where you want.

Option to Convert to
Classroom Based Training
E-Learning is very well suited for many introductory and
intermediate courses.
However, some students may struggle with
the more difficult
concepts or labs and, learning in a remote location obviously they
can't interact with face to face with the qualified trainer which they
can in a classroom based course.
To help our customers, F1 delivers a
better solution. Our eLearning
students have the option to convert from the E-Learning course to the
equivalent classroom
based training course. The student just notifies their Account Manager
at F1 that they
wish to convert to the classroom course and pays an additional £210 per day to attend the next scheduled
classroom course. It's as simple as that!
