Before attending this course, students must have the following pre-requisites:
  • Working knowledge of a Microsoft operating system, including Windows 2000, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 98, or Windows 95.
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts, such as sharing resources, creating user accounts, and assigning permissions.
  • Working knowledge of major networking components, including client computers, servers, local area networks (LANs), network adapter cards, drivers, and client/server software and communication devices.
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware components, including computer memory, hard disks, CPUs, communication and printer ports, display adapters, and pointing devices.
