The Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) credential provides
IT professionals with a simpler and more targeted framework to showcase
their technical skills in addition to the skills required for specific job roles. This credential is geared towards IT professionals
who use technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Windows 7, Windows
Server, SharePoint Server and Exchange Server.
The MCITP certification lets you highlight your specific area of
expertise. Now, you can easily distinguish yourself as an expert in
database administration, database development, messaging administration,
server administration or business intelligence.

This certification demonstrates that you
can design, create, deploy and maintain database solutions by using SQL
Server 2008.
MCITP candidates must first complete the requirements for the MCTS: SQL
Server 2008 Database Developer certification (one exam). After earning
this credential, candidates earn their MCITP: Database Developer 2008 by
passing one required exam.
NB. There is no additional classroom training for the final exam.

Virtualisation Administrator
This certification validates your knowledge and skills around
Microsoft virtualization products, including Hyper-V, System Center
Virtual Machine Manager, and Remote Desktop Services (RDS), in a
Windows Server 2008 R2 infrastructure.
MCITP candidates must first complete the requirements for the MCTS:
Windows Server 2008 R2 Desktop Virtualisation Configuration and either MCTS:
Windows Server Virtualisation or MCTS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Server
Virtualisation credentials (two exams). After achieving these credentials,
candidates earn their MCITP: Virtualisation Administrator by passing the required exam.
