The Managing Director of F1 Computing, Stephen
Price, has a broad range of experience in both
aerospace industry and information technology
companies.
He was responsible for the project management
systems that took the European Giotto spacecraft to
fly by and study Halley's Comet. He says "If
we missed the launch envelope then we would have to
wait until the comet returned, in another 76 years,
so that was one project we could not afford to
slip!".
QI Fact: Stephen loves
flying of every kind and hopes to make it into outer
space, before (or after) he dies. |
