When it comes to development training obtaining the best is obviously your first preference. However, we are aware that sometimes, funding the best training is a problem.  To help you with this, F1 has introduced a number of initiatives suited for both individuals and organisations.

The F1 Training Passport is the recommended option for individuals who want to either upgrade their development skill set or are choosing IT Development as a career. It allows them to obtain the UK’s best development training at an incredibly low price.

In addition, there are a variety of government grants and loans available for both individuals and organisations. For more information on grants and loans please call our sales team on

What is the F1 Training Passport?

It is a passport for an individual to buy F1 Development Training Courses at a substantial discount of up to 40%There are two passports available:

  • 5 Course Training Passport – giving you attendance on up to 5 Courses in any one 12 month period.

  • 8 Course Training Passport – giving you attendance on up to 8 Courses in any one 12 month period.

F1 Training Passport Benefits

There are many benefits of the F1 Training Passport. These include:

  • Big Savings – you can save up to 41% with an F1 Training Passport.

  • Even Better Value - save up to an additional 20% more than any of our competitors - As F1 limits class sizes to 6 delegates we can often train a standard Microsoft course in less time that any other training Supplier. For example our VB 6 Enterprise course (1016) is only 4 days instead of the usual 5 days. You pay only the 4 day price and are back at work on the fifth day.

  • Flexible – You can pick and choose which courses suit you best. As your career develops and your interests change you can change the courses you attend accordingly.

  • Gain Skills & Certification – A F1 Training Passport is a one stop decision which allows you to gain the skills you will need in the future and achieve the MCP qualifications that will increasingly be demanded by employers.

  • Reduced Administration – one purchase is all that is required. After that you just need to decide which courses you want to attend and when you want to attend them.

  • Less Hassle - just one justification and purchase buys your F1 Training Passport. Booking each course is then simply a phone call away.

  • Budget and Spend - For individuals in companies, the F1 Training Passport allows you to make one purchase and then use it on training purchases throughout the year.

  • Free Advice – Your assigned Account Manager together with our trainers can assist with ongoing course recommendations and options.

  • Valid for 12 Months – from the start date of your first course.

What does a F1 Training Passport give you?

  • Charge up your career - it enables you to accelerate your career and gain expertise fast.

  • Help you achieve MCP status - it enables you to earn one or more Microsoft Certified Professional Qualifications, which in turn will enhance your career status.

  • Results - Achieve the results you need...Guaranteed.

  • Align training with goals and objectives - F1 Training Passports make it easy to concentrate learning in areas aligned with your organization’s strategic goals and technology investments.

  • Choose your passport, and then select your courses – the F1 Training Passport admits you to your choice of F1 public courses. As a Passport holder, you simply phone your account manager whenever you want to enrol on a course.

  • Use an 8-Course Training Passport to attend 8 courses over a 12-month period. Or, choose a 5-Course Training Passport and take up to 5 courses over 12 months. Either card lets you select from any of the 160 development courses we hold in a year. Just select dates and locations convenient to you.

  • Only F1 limits class sizes to a maximum of 6 delegates. Compare this to other training suppliers who have an average of 8 delegates per course. This, in reality, means that you are likely to sit on some courses with 12 or even 15 delegates on them.

  • All F1 Training courses include standard Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) where available (not cost-cutting in-house manuals supplied by many of our competitors).

  • Course Fees - include all standard Microsoft Official Curriculum course materials, F1 course notes (where applicable), a Course Completion Certificate, lunch each day, morning and afternoon refreshments.

  • F1 Computing is one of the leading development companies in its field and uses this expertise to ensure that its training clients have both the theoretical knowledge supplied by Microsoft Curriculum and the practical knowledge that only a development company can give.
