Target Audience:
This course will teach systems engineers to install, configure, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot MOM. It will assume that Active Directory is up and functioning properly. It will focus on the medium to large environment.
Pre-requisites:
Before attending this course, students should have the following pre-requisites:- • A+ certification, or equivalent knowledge
- • Network+ certification, or equivalent knowledge
- • MCSA certification, or equivalent knowledge.
Purpose:
After completing this course, students will be able to plan for business requirements; determine the appropriate number of MOM servers; determine the server locations; create the needed accounts; run the MOM installation wizard; plan and create the MOM management group; install and use MOM agents to monitor various services; manage rules, alerts, and resolve configuration issues; manage collected data by using the reporting console, predefined reports, and the web console; configure multiple management servers to scale a management solution across an organization.

- Determine the business requirements for a MOM deployment
