Target Audience:
This course combines content from Course 1026, Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 Series-Concepts and Administration, and Course 973, Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 Series–Design and Implementation, into a five-day accelerated course. It is intended for experienced Microsoft Exchange Server system administrators, architects, and designers who plan, install, configure, customize, administer, and troubleshoot Exchange Server version 5.5. This course is not intended for individuals with no prior Exchange Server knowledge
Pre-requisites:
Before attending this course, students must have the following pre-requisites:- Attend Course 803, Administering Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, or have equivalent skills and knowledge.
- Have an operational understanding of the following microcomputer topics: memory, hard disks, central processing unit (CPU) types, communication ports, printer ports, network adapter cards, and display adapters.
- Have experience supporting networks or end users.
Purpose:
The goal of this accelerated course is to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills required for implementing and managing an Exchange organization. Because this course combines content from Course 1026 and Course 973, into a five-day accelerated format, a variety of delivery techniques are used to ensure completion of the course content
