Company attempts to transform public attitude to email (Print copy of document in PDF format) What is PDF? F1 is pleased to announce a radical new initiative to redirect its marketing efforts away from paper based communication and towards Email & the web. We want to encourage customers to make use of our Emailed Newsletter and have decided to donate 10p to charity for every marketing Email we send out. This initiative will mean that F1 will donate up to £10,000 p.a. to UK charities! If this idea is taken up by other companies it could produce a substantial and regular income source for charities worth up to £800 million a year in the UK alone! To help F1 make regular donations to charity just subscribe to our monthly 1 page emailed newsletter: Please send me F1's 1 page monthly Newsletter More information.......... F1's Managing Director, Stephen Price said, "We want to break the spiral of increasing paper consumption by businesses. This spiral costs society more resources to produce and more resources to distribute and in the end the customer ends up paying for them either directly or indirectly". "What we are doing, where possible, is to make Email the
first preference for communicating most products and services. The advantages of migrating
to Email and donating the savings to charity are many-fold and the effect would be very
significant if applied by businesses world-wide".
In a customer survey F1 recently conducted, over 70% of our customers said they would prefer to receive a training newsletter via Email. We at F1 feel we have an obligation to move to Email based marketing for all our customers who have Email and web access and want to encourage potential customers to visit our web site and see for themselves what services we offer. We think this can be best achieved by the use of the charity funding Email where everyone benefits. We would also like to encourage other companies engaged in marketing to follow our example.
